Enrichment

Our children have the opportunity to take part in a range of Trust-wide or school based enrichment events throughout the year, including:

PDET Just sing!

An opportunity for our year 4 children to join together with children at other schools within our Trust to sing a range of songs in a theatre performance. An amazing onstage experience!

PDET Going for Gold Sports Day

A team of 15 children represent our school in our Trust's annual inter-school Olympics! A fun day of sports competition and physical challenges for years 3 - 4.

PDET - Maths Rocks!

A fun and hands on maths experience for our year 5 children.  During the day, held at the nearby Rock UK Frontier Centre, the children put their mathematical skills to the test via a number of problem solving activities.  

1:1 Musical Tuition 

Children of all ages can take part in weekly 1:1 and small group musical tuition.  We work closely with ISM Music Academy and offer a number of instruments for the children to learn.  Currently we have children enjoying lessons in drumming, guitars, keyboard and vocals.  At the end of a series of lessons, children are invited to perform to their peers and parents/carers.  

NMAPT Year 3 Class Music 

Through the schools music grant, we are able to offer our year 3 pupils an opportunity to learn an instrument each year.  The whole class are taught to play the recorder, ukulele or African drums for example over a ten week period.  At the end of the ten weeks, the whole class perform to their peers and parents/carers.
